Seeking a motion controls specialist with hands-on programming skills to lead a team that designs and programs control software for state-of-the-art thermoforming machines. Ideal candidate has a background or interest in electrical engineering and industrial automation applications.
GN maintains worldwide leadership through innovation and outstanding customer support. In this role, you will design new machines with the latest technology following projects through concept, prototype and testing, and market launch. Similarly, you will support existing global machine base while improving current offerings.
Required qualifications include:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering; Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent qualifications.
- Project management experience in a software programming environment.
- Knowledge of Motion control systems.
- Ability and desire to train and mentor team members with best practices in programming and engineering design.
On our Innovative Engineering Team, you’ll be building upon your knowledge and capacity in the following areas:
- PLC hardware applications.
- Mechanical and electrical systems.
- Designing Industry 4.0 applications for monitoring machinery and IoT (Internet of Things).
- Supporting and Troubleshooting Industrial Production Machines deployed in the field.
